Amber Portwood Has Been Sober For Over Two Years

Amber Portwood is sober and proud.

After being released from prison in Nov. 2013, the former Teen Mom has been on the straight and narrow and recently revealed that she's been sober for more than two years.

When a fan asked Portwood how long she's been sober, she replied, "A little over 2 years."

Since Portwood went to prison in June 2012, that would mean that she actually got sober prior to turning herself in, which is a little surprising, considering she appeared to be in complete desperation at the time she agreed to a five-year-sentance, as opposed to the court-ordered rehab program.

Either way, two years is definitely something to be proud of and hopefully, Portwood will continue to stay sober for years to come.

'Teen Mom' Stars Plan To Reunite Without Farrah Abraham

The stars of Teen Mom are in talks for a reunion.

Earlier this week, after Amber Portwood sent out a tweet about Saturday Night Live, Maci Bookout contacted her, saying, "missin u! cant wait to see u and [Catelynn Lowell] soon!"

Just months ago, it was reported that Porwood, Bookout and Lowell would soon reunite to film some sort of Teen Mom project with MTV. It was also said that Farrah Abraham, who was originally part of the cast, would not be a part of the series, which seems to be confirmed, judging by her absence in Bookout's tweet.

Thus far, MTV hasn't spoken out about any project with the girls, but if they are going to be back together "soon," there is certainly something to look forward to.

Even if the girls don't do a full season of the show, they will likely appear in some sort of followup special to update fans on where they are now.

Amber Portwood Is In Love?!

Amber Portwood appears to be in love.

Unfortunately, it may not be going as planned.

On Monday morning, the former Teen Mom star took to Twitter where she shared her emotions with her many fans and followers, explaining that while she has fallen for someone, she may not be ready to open herself up quite yet.

"Isn't it weird how you fall for someone but get so scared you push that person away...," Portwood wrote, asking, "Why do we do this people...or am I the only one?"

At this point, there doesn't seem to be any information available when it comes to who Portwood's new love may be, but it's pretty safe to say that it is not her former boyfriend, Gary Shirley.

Although Portwood and Shirley share a daughter, Leah, 5, they have continuously denied any and all dating rumors since Portwood's prison release in Nov. 2013. In addition, Shirley is currently dating someone else.

Amber Portwood Spends The Night With Daughter Leah

Amber Portwood is slowly but surely getting reacquainted with life as a mommy to 5-year-old Leah Shirley.

After being released from prison in Nov. 2013, Portwood and her daughter began spending time together, and now, Portwood has gotten overnights with Leah.

"Spending time with my beautiful booboo tonight....sending love everyone hope you enjoy your night," Portwood wrote on Friday evening.

Then, in the wee hours of Saturday morning, she tweeted again, telling fans how happy she was to be spending the night with her young daughter.

"I love waking up to my beautiful booboo...just sit and stare hoping she doesn't wake up and think I'm crazy lol," she said.
